"Phumtham" regrets Thai Buddhists and Muslims experiencing violence in the southern border provinces, confirms willingness to negotiate, but must not divide the state, stop using violence to pressure. On May 6th at Government House, Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, gave an interview about the daily violence in the border provinces and what measures will be taken to deal with it.
